The Duolingo English test can be taken at home, on-demand, and without an appointment.

The duration of the test can range from 45 minutes up to an hour, depending on how well the candidate speaks English.

The test includes a video interview as well as a written sample that is sent to the institution with the proficiency score.

The results are available in 48 hours for only $49 You can share them with any number of institutions.

The test is scored on a scale of 10-160.

The higher the score, the better the English level

Some universities require a minimum score of 120, but in other cases a 100+ score may be acceptable.
