PTE Exam Pattern

The machine that scores the PTE tests is unbiased and objective. The candidate receives a detailed report, including an overall score between 0 and 90 and a detailed skills profile. This profile of skills includes scores that are independent for both communicative and enabling skills.

Listening, reading, and writing are all included in the score for communication skills. Oral fluency, written discourses, vocabulary, grammar and spelling are all elements that fall under the category of enabling skills.

The sub-skills are scored from 10 to 90 points depending on how you perform. The PTE test is accepted by most universities and for visa purposes, in New Zealand and Australia.
